Could be because this post is more than 2 years old.<br /><br />For male non-smoker of aged 26, $300,000 sum assured for death/TPD and additional $300,000 for critical illnesses, it costs only $4353 per year instead of $1,200/month. The annual budget of $14,400 minus off $4353 leaves $10,047 which can be invested as well.<br /><br />While BTIR still wins out at higher projected investment returns, the ILP does not lose out much so much. At lower projected investment returns, self-insuring through BTIR may prove to be difficult whilst ILP can continue, even if at high mortality charges at old age. ILP also gives an arguably easier and more disciplined form of insurance and investment for some people.<br /><br />Also, what company is the term insurance from?<br /><br />Can I send you a BI for you to refer to?
